How to Use IP Address Logging in a Cluster Node

You can find your IP address by going to Settings > Diagnostics > Ingestion log. You can also check the start-up log to determine which cluster node is having problems. Alternatively, you can log the IP address whenever the cluster node starts up. This method has many benefits, and can help you diagnose cluster node configuration issues. Here are some examples. 0.0.0.0

The IP address 0x00 is sometimes called a wildcard address or an unspecified target. It is the default gateway for a server and has different meanings on client devices. On a PC, 0.0.0.0 is displayed when the PC is offline. Similarly, if an address assignment fails, the machine can automatically be assigned 0.0.0.0 as an IP address. However, the PC cannot communicate with other machines on the network using this IP address.

0.0.1.1

If you’re trying to log a network activity, you published here should use a 0.0.1.1 IP address. You can find the default gateway at this address and manage several device settings from there. You can also access this address to troubleshoot your network. To access this address, open an internet browser such as Internet Explorer.
