Mike Morse Law Firm will continue its Project Backpack for the next school year. For the last six years, this program has offered a free backpack of school supplies to every child in the Detroit Public School District. During the summer, the children use the backpack to explore the city and visit the different attractions that are located in the surrounding areas.
This is the third year that the law firm will participate in the project. This is a great way for the children to learn about the city while at the same time having fun. As a parent, you will appreciate knowing that the law firm is actively involved in helping your children to achieve their educational goals.
The goal of the Project Backpack for the sixth grade was to get more parents to take an active role in the education of their children. The program teaches children about the importance of reading, writing and speaking and encourages them to use these skills to become successful adults.
If your children have been struggling in school because they do not understand what is being taught, or do not know how to write their own name, or understand why their teachers are giving them tests that they are not prepared for, this project could be the solution. As a parent, you will want to encourage your children to read more books, write more essays and complete more projects. You will be able to teach your children about school as they grow older.
Parents of students who are behind will also find that the Project Backpack curriculum is useful. They can use the lessons learned in the backpack to help them with math, science and English.
You will see how students from different grades can relate to each other and work together. Your child will learn from others and have fun at the same time. This will help to prepare them for college or high school.
The children will also enjoy the project and feel like their efforts are appreciated. You will feel proud when your child finishes a project and you can see their excitement and pride. It gives you a sense of accomplishment as well.
The other benefit that students gain from the Project Backpack program is learning how to work with a team. Learning how to work with others in a group environment can help students achieve goals that they would never otherwise be able to do on their own. They are given guidance and support, helping them to achieve their educational goals.
These are just some of the reasons that parents choose this program. Your child will enjoy the experience and you will find that it is worthwhile.
